Rest in Peace Tammy Faye

Tammy Faye Bakker Messner, lifelong evangelist, died Friday. The gutsy Southern woman had battled cancer for several years and now is finally at peace.

Best known as the make-up clad ex-wife of Jim Bakker of PTL infamey, Tammy Faye was a crusader for Christ in her own right. I came to admire her while watching her interactions with son Jamie on "One Punk Under God."
